Teak is a heavy, hard and sturdy type of wood. The high content of natural oils makes it highly resistant and it is therefore a good choice for furniture. We only use Grade A teak, the timber taken from the core or heart of the log, that is richest in natural oils and has an even grain and golden-brown color. As the wood is untreated the surface will patinate and change colour over time.
