When placing an order on skagerak.com you will receive an order confirmation including your order number, name, address and delivery address via email. We recommend that you save this.
Payment
At skagerak.com you can pay with Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron, MobilePay and Ideal.
When your order is dispatched from Skageraks by Fritz Hansens warehouse, the payment will be charged to the means of payment you have selected. If your order is divided into several deliveries, it will be the amount for the part of your order that is sent from Skagerak that will be charged from your account. The rest of the amount will be charged when the rest of your order is delivered.
Payment reservations
When you approve a purchase and pay by card or MobilePay as a means of payment on Skagerak.com, we reserve the amount on your chosen payment method. We only charge the amount when your delivery has been shipped from our warehouse to your chosen delivery address.
We make a reservation on your card to ensure that the card is not blocked and that there is coverage on the card. The reservation is automatically cancelled when the amount is charged from the card. The maximum duration of a card reservation depends on the type of card that you can get from the card issuer, e.g., your bank. Because a reservation has a maximum duration, the reservation may expire. If your order is not shipped before the expiration of the reservation, we will make a new reservation and the card issuer will cancel the original reservation. If a reservation has not been cancelled, please contact your card issuer, as only your card issuer can cancel reservations on the card. We also refer to the terms and conditions that apply to your payment card, which you have been given by the card issuer.

Your privacy is important to us. This is why our payment solution is based on SSL standards which means that the information you provide us with during payment is protected by encryption. Read our privacy policy here.
Skagerak Denmark A/S uses QuickPay as their payment gateway. QuickPay is responsible for the encrypted transaction between your payment card and the payment card processor. Read more about secure online payments at quickpay.dk.
Shipping & Delivery
We deliver to the countries listed above. Your goods will be shipped and delivered safely and you will not be charged before we ship your goods from our warehouse. Once we ship your goods, you will either receive a Track and Trace number via e-mail, or be contacted by phone to arrange when delivery will occur. We ship with GLS in Denmark and UPS abroad. Products delivered with UPS are carbon-neutral shipments. Want to know more? Read here. Selected goods will be shipped with LKMM in Denmark and Dachser abroad – depending on size and fragility.

We recommend that you are present upon delivery. Deliveries abroad, shipped with Dachser, will be delivered by the curbside in front of your residence. Deliveries in Denmark, sent with LKMM, will be delivered right to your door. Please note that when the goods are delivered, they are in your custody. To avoid damage during shipment all furniture are carefully wrapped. Some furniture is ready-to-assemble. In that case, instructions will be included. Assembly and maintenance guides for our products are only available in English.
Time of delivery
Denmark: Delivery within 1-8 working days, normally within three days.
Abroad: Delivery within 2-8 working days
If the product is out of stock, the delivery time is estimated from when the product is ready to ship from our warehouse.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
You have the right to make a return within 14 days after receiving your goods, for any reason and with no justification. Please note that you will lose your right of return if you do not declare the withdrawal of your purchase within 14 days after receiving your goods.
The costs of the freight are not included in your purchase. Expenses for returns may vary, depending on the size of the product. Please contact our customer service who will inform you about return expenses. You are responsible for the goods until we receive them, and if an item is broken or lost during shipment, you can be held accountable. In that case, it is your responsibility to document the return.
Please note that the right of withdrawal is annulled if you use the product in a way that reduces the sales value. The goods must be returned unused and in the same condition as they were upon receipt and in original packaging. If not, you will receive a refund equal to the state of the item.

If you exercise your right to withdraw from the purchase - as described above – you will receive the refund within 14 days after we have received the order at our warehouse.
You cannot withdraw you order by refusing receipt of the delivery or refrain from collecting it at a pickup point without notifying us about your return. You can use The Danish law's standard return form; however, this is not mandatory.
Bought your product from another retailer?
If you have purchased a Skagerak product at one of our retailers and want to make a return or complaint, please contact the retailer listed in your order confirmation. Make sure to have your order confirmation ready.
Complaints?
If you have purchased a product and it is damaged - e.g. faulty material or a manufacturing fault - our 5-year warranty* apply. You can file a complaint by contacting our customer care at info@fritzhansen.com or +45 48 17 23 00. Please describe the claim as detailed as possible.
All Skagerak products are covered by a 5-year warranty*. This mean that you can make a complaint of defects and faults in the product, which has occurred within 5 years after the purchase. This does, however, not apply to defects, damages or wear caused by misuse, lacking maintenance or ordinary wear and tear. The warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence or default. For minor claims or defects, repair or replacement of spare parts will be done. Skagerak may also suggest credit note compensation.
*The 5-year warranty does not include Reclassic products. Reclassic products is covered by the 2-year legal guarantee, which follows the EU law.
We reserve the right to repair any defects and faults within a reasonable time frame. If a repair is not possible or feasible, or if a repair is disproportionately expensive to meet, we will deliver a new product upon receiving the damaged one. If neither repair nor replacement is possible, you will receive a refund equal to the product's price when you acquired it.
For items that have exceeded the guarantee period, we offer repair and/or spare parts at a reasonable rate. Items may only be returned for repair/replacement if a return number has been issued by our customer care.
You can file a complaint against Skagerak regarding your purchase in the webshop. In Denmark complaints should be filed to Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsens Center for Klageløsning, Carl Jacobsensvej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. You can file your complaint on www.forbrug.dk.
The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution website is relevant for private consumers living in another EU country. You can file your complaint at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When filing a complaint you must state the following e-mail address info@fritzhansen.com.
Responsibility
Skagerak cannot be held responsible for indirect losses and consequential damage. Furthermore we reserve the right to make price changes and shall not be held responsible for any typing and pricing errors on our website.
RECLASSIC TERMS & CONDITIONS
CONDITION
The condition of each Reclassic product can vary – and therefore, also the price. The products may come from private homes or have been used for either photo shoots, events or exhibitions. Therefore, all Reclassic products are used and for this reason, note that most items are unique, each in its own way, all with traces of use. The pictures of each product show the condition. Our team checks all furniture before reselling and restores them if needed.
SELL
If you wish to sell Skagerak indoor or outdoor wooden furniture, please email details with photos to reclassic@skagerak.com. A knowledgeable employee will assess and set a purchase price based on the condition, up to a maximum of 50 percent of today’s retail price. For the price of your Skagerak vintage piece – stools, side tables, indoor and outdoor furniture – you can make a new purchase on skagerak.com. All furniture must be handed in or shipped to Skagerak warehouse in Randers. The costs of the freight to our warehouse are at your own expense, but we can help obtain a quote on shipping from one of our freight partners.
WARRANTY
All Reclassic products are covered by a 2-year warranty. This means that you can make a complaint of defects and faults in the product, which has occurred within 2 years after the purchase.
