    Proper usage and maintenance is vital for getting the most out of the valuable resources we have. Our designs are made to last for generations, but just like everything else, they need a little care to get there.

  • Terracotta

    Tableware
    Edge tableware is handmade from natural materials and burned at a high temperature. The color shade and surface of the product can vary from time to time. In that way each piece is totally unique.

    Why
    Terracotta is a beautiful looking type of earthenware - formed by high-fired clay. Terracotta means “baked earth” in Italian and the pottery technique can be traced all the way back to ancient Greece.

    Cleaning and maintenance
    The product requires a minimum of care. However, if necessary clean the product using lukewarm or soapy water and wipe with a dry cloth. Be aware that terracotta can be fragile so take care when moving the item around.

    Note
    The tableware is dishwasher safe. Be careful if stacking the Edge tableware products as the raw terracotta might scratch the glazed surfaces.
