What is included in the rental fee?
- Your monthly fee includes rental and insurance. A delivery and return service fee is added to your first payment. This fee covers all carrying, assembling and transport back and forth.

How is the furniture delivered?
- RENT delivers and picks up your furniture wherever you wish – in the garden, on the terrace or balcony. We will handle all carrying and assembling, so the furniture is ready to use. Our carrier will contact you within 48 hours after you have completed your order to arrange the time of delivery.

Can I buy my rental furniture?
- Yes, it is possible to buy your rental furniture at a reduced price after the rental period. If you choose to buy the furniture, your reduced price will be the full retail cost minus the fee for all rented months and the delivery & return service fee. Read more about the buy-out here.

What happens if the furniture gets damaged?
- Our furniture is made of the best materials and designed to be used. Life is dynamic, and we expect you to integrate the furniture into your active daily life. Should you have an accident that is more severe than a day to day wear and tear, we have included an insurance in the monthly fee that you can read about here.
Skagerak’s furniture is built to last, but just like everything else, they need a little help to stay on top. Please read our maintenance guide for each product here.
Is the rental furniture used or brand new?
- RENT is a sustainable way of life as we restore the furniture after each rental period, ensuring them a long lifespan where the furniture is re-rented and used again and again. RENT does not distinguish between new and used furniture. The rental fee is the same, whether you rent entirely new or vintage furniture. As long as the furniture is adequately maintained, they have equal value.
How do I cancel my subscription?
- You can cancel your subscription at any time, however, the first three months are binding. You always have one month's notice, if you wish to cancel your subscription. After the binding period of three months, the subscription automatically continues every month unless you manually cancel it by sending an email to Customer Service at info@fritzhansen.com.
How long can I rent the furniture?
- You can rent the furniture for a minimum of three months and keep for as long as you want. If you end up liking the furniture so much that you want to keep them, you can buy them at a reduced price. Read more about the buy-out here.
How do I maintain the rented furniture?
- Skagerak outdoor furniture is made of teak. Teak has a honey-golden nuance when it is new, but when you leave the furniture outside, it will patinate into a beautiful silver-grey shade. When maintaining the furniture, you should only wash them with water and soap. Please do not treat your rented Skagerak furniture with oil.

- RENT is available for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic. We are working on expanding the concept to other countries in the future.
